Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis were married in 2002 and parted ways after six years. The latter filed for legal separation and cited a number of reasons that turned out to be controversial. However, despite the degree of controversies they faced, they chose to work out their issues and became closer to each other.

The former couple is now good friends and co-parenting their kids, Natasha Alexander and Ella Alexander Rodriguez. Despite their differences and issues, Rodriguez respects Scurtis that makes them amicable. In fact, these two were once again seen with each other after the legendary MLB player and Jennifer Lopez called off their engagement.
