Just when everyone thought Anderson Cooper and Benjamin Maisani would remain together forever, they ended their romance after nine years. Many were surprised by their decision, but it looked it was only their romantic relationship that they had finished. In a statement, the ex-couple said they had already separated as boyfriends, but they remain to treat each other like family.

They still have an incredible degree of love for one another, and did you know they are even living under the same roof? Cooper is co-parenting his kid, Wyatt Morgan Cooper, with Maisani, and things are easier for them when they are together. The CNN news broadcaster adds they get along really well despite the split, and though it looks weird, it perfectly works out for them. Cooper admitted they broke up because Maisani did not want to have a kid, but after seeing Wyatt, he became a “great parent.”
